This policy explains what information Eight23 Craft & Brew ("Eight23," "we," "us") collects through theeight23.com and our group-order ordering tools, and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our site, we may collect:

• Contact details you provide directly: name, phone number, and email, when booking an event, placing a group order, or leaving a note for our barista.
• Order details: drink selections, special requests, and payment amount for group orders.
• Payment information, processed securely by Stripe for card payments. We do not store your full card number.
• Event details you provide when requesting a quote: venue, guest count, date, and similar logistics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To fulfill and confirm your order or booking.
• To contact you about an order or booking, including by text message if you've provided a phone number and consented. See our Terms of Service for details on our SMS program.
• To prepare for your event or delivery (e.g., knowing your guest count or drink preferences).
• If you tick the optional box on our booking form, to email you Eight23 menus, offers and news. We only send marketing email to people who opted in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.

3. Phone Numbers & SMS Consent

If you provide a phone number when placing a group order, we use it only to send you a text related to that specific order, as described in our Terms of Service. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers who help us operate: our payment processor (Stripe), our notes/database system (Notion), our email provider, and our SMS provider for the texts described above. We don't sell your information to anyone.

5. Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing eight23bookings@gmail.com. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you by emailing the same address, subject to records we're required to keep (e.g., for completed bookings or tax purposes).

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
