Walnut Creek & Contra Costa

A mobile espresso bar for Walnut Creek events.

Eight23 Craft & Brew is a specialty mobile espresso bar. We bring the cart, the commercial equipment, and a trained barista who turns up early and leaves the place as they found it. Hot and iced, non-dairy milks included as standard, on every booking. Based in Manteca, and out to Walnut Creek regularly.

What We Serve

The events we show up for in Walnut Creek

Well designed events, well attended, and the cart is expected to look the part.

Weddings

Upscale venues and private estates. Custom signage makes the cart part of the design.

Corporate

Downtown offices and professional firms. Branded cups carry the logo without a banner.

Estate parties

Milestone birthdays at home, where tidy setup matters as much as the coffee.

Gallery openings

A cart draws a crowd and holds it. That is what an opening needs.

Showers & brunches

Morning events where a bar would be wrong and drip would be forgotten.

Fundraisers

Galas and donor mornings, where nothing should feel like an afterthought.

Real espresso, pulled on site. Not an urn of drip coffee.

Before You Book

What your Walnut Creek space needs

Downtown and private estates each bring their own complication.

The cart rolls on castors, which is why a flat, step free route matters.

Common Questions

Walnut Creek event FAQ

Do you serve Walnut Creek from Manteca?

Yes. Walnut Creek sits outside our standard local area, so travel is worked into your quote rather than assumed. Give us the venue and it comes back with everything else.

Can the cart be branded to match our event?

Yes. Custom signage in your colors or artwork turns our standard cart into part of your design. It needs 20 days to produce, so raise it early. Branded cups are the same lead time. Latte printing has no lead time at all.

Do you offer mobile barista services in Walnut Creek?

Yes. Every booking includes a trained barista working the cart, so hiring a mobile barista and booking the coffee cart are the same thing with us. We do not hire out a barista without the equipment, because the espresso quality depends on both.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekend dates in spring and fall book the furthest out, and December fills quickly with holiday parties. If you have a date in mind, checking early costs you nothing and holds your place in the conversation.

Can you serve outdoors in the summer heat?

Yes, and we do it often. Shade makes a real difference for the equipment and for your guests, so we will talk through placement with you. A cold brew or iced service is usually the stronger choice for a hot afternoon.

What if my venue has stairs?

The cart cannot go up or down stairs, so we need a step free route from where we park to where we set up. This is worth raising as early as possible. In most cases there is an alternative entrance, and in some cases an additional fee may apply for a more involved workaround.

How many guests can you serve?

That depends on your guest count and how long you want the bar open, which is exactly what we work out together when you inquire. Tell us the headcount and the window you have in mind and we will size the service to match.

Do you serve anywhere else nearby?

Yes. We are based in Manteca and serve Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Alamo, and the wider East Bay, and beyond.
