Same Service, Different Names

Coffee catering, coffee cart, mobile barista

All the same booking. Here is what each one actually means.

Coffee catering

The catering word, usually used by people booking us alongside a food vendor for a wedding or corporate event. Same service, quoted on guest count and service length.

Mobile coffee cart

The physical cart. Commercial espresso machine, grinder, and a concrete top, rolled into your venue. Not a folding table with pump pots.

Mobile barista

The person behind it. Every booking includes a trained barista, and a second one is added automatically once the guest count needs it.

Espresso bar hire

What it looks like to guests: a proper bar they queue at and order from, the way they would in a cafe.

Coffee cart rental

Worth being clear, we are not a dry rental. We do not drop equipment off for you to operate. We arrive, set up, serve, and break down.

Barista for hire

We do not send a barista without the cart. Espresso quality depends on the equipment as much as the person, so the two come together.

Common Questions

Coffee cart catering FAQ

What is a mobile coffee cart?

A complete espresso bar on wheels. We bring the cart, commercial espresso equipment, a trained barista, cups, and all the ingredients, and set it up at your venue. Guests order the same drinks they would in a good cafe, made in front of them.

Is a mobile coffee cart the same as coffee catering?

Yes. Coffee catering, mobile coffee cart, mobile espresso bar, and hiring a mobile barista all describe the same booking with us. You get the cart, the commercial equipment, and a trained barista making drinks to order. The only distinction worth knowing is that we are not a dry rental, so we never drop equipment off for someone else to run.

How much does coffee cart catering cost?

It depends on your guest count and how long you want the bar open, so every event is quoted individually rather than sold off a fixed price list. Tell us the date, rough headcount, and service window and we will send an itemised quote within 24 hours.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekend dates in spring and fall book furthest out, and December fills quickly with holiday parties. Checking a date costs nothing and holds your place in the conversation, so it is always worth asking early.

What do you need from the venue?

A standard 110v outlet within reach of where the cart will sit, a flat and step free path from where we park to that spot, and roughly a ten by ten foot area. We bring our own water, so no plumbing is needed.

Do you travel outside Manteca?

Yes. We are based in Manteca and serve the wider Central Valley, including Modesto, Stockton, Tracy, Lathrop, Ripon, and beyond. There is no travel fee inside our standard service area.

How many guests can you serve?

That depends on your headcount and how long the bar is open. Past a certain size we add a second barista automatically so the line keeps moving, which is built into the quote rather than sprung on you later.
